Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how napjose.ph (the "site"), the personal website of Nap Joseph Calub ("I", "me", "my"), handles information. The short version: this site collects as little as possible. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no trackers.

1. Information I collect

Information you give me

• Email. If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. I use it only to read and reply to your message.
• Google account data. If a feature of the site offers "Sign in with Google" and you choose to use it, see section 2 below.

That's it. There are no contact forms, newsletter signups, comment systems, or user accounts on this site.

2. Google user data

Some projects published through this site may let you sign in with your Google account. If you do:

• I receive only the basic profile information your Google account exposes for the requested scopes - typically your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Google user data is used solely to provide the feature you signed in for, such as authenticating you and displaying your name.
• Google user data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
• My use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
• You can revoke my access to your Google account at any time via your Google account permissions page. After revocation, linked data on my side is deleted.

3. Automatically collected information

• Server logs. Like nearly every website, the hosting layer processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) briefly, for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
• Local storage. Your browser stores one key - your dark/light theme preference - in localStorage. It never leaves your device.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no advertising identifiers, and performs no fingerprinting.

4. Third-party services

• Hosting / CDN. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, whose network processes request metadata needed to serve pages and protect against abuse. Cloudflare's own privacy practices are described in its privacy policy.
• Google. Only involved when you explicitly use a Google sign-in feature (section 2).

5. How information is used and shared

Information collected through this site is never sold. It is used only for the purposes described above, shared only with the providers listed in section 4 as needed to operate the site, or disclosed where required by law.

6. Data retention

• Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
• Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed for the conversation.
• Google-linked data is deleted once you revoke access or ask me to delete it.

7. Your rights

You may ask whether I hold any of your personal information, request a copy, correction, or deletion of it, or object to its use - just email me. I will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the page itself.
